Our goal is to bring people closer together in a world that feels more and more disconnected. We love creating games that make memories, get everyone laughing and let out that competitive edge that's roaring to get out. We believe true happiness comes from human connection. Now add some drinking and you've got yourself a party 😉
The board game
Drink Party takes you back to the good ol' days with over 40 mini games, loosely grouped into four kinds:
- Classic: beer pong, flip cup and friends
- Nostalgic: the games you played as a kid
- Media: games found on social media
- Creative: games made up by our one and only CEO
The teams never stay the same. One round it's Free for All, the next it's Two vs Two, One vs Three or a One vs One showdown. Trust us, there's never a dull moment.
Meet our founder, Tanner James Pearce
"I'm a small-town guy who moved to the city with dreams of being an entrepreneur. I've launched a fitness company, a clothing line and a supplement line, and all of them taught me something I used to build this game. I've always made board games for my friends and family. One day I typed 'how to mass produce a board game' into Google, and here we are.
What excites me most is watching people make new memories with their friends and family while playing something I made. True happiness comes from human connection, and if I can help spread that, I'll be one happy man."
It's all about the journey
Drink Party started as a board game for Tanner's family and friends and grew into something much bigger. It took years of ups and downs: switching artists five or six times before finding one who matched the vision, and losing manufacturers who shut down during COVID. Every rule got tested over and over: how the board is laid out, how many coins things cost, which mini games made the cut, what goes in the box. So many chances to make mistakes, and just as many to learn.
The next chapter
Then came Drink Party GO
After Drink Party launched, I listened. The feedback was clear: people loved the mini games, but setting them up took too long, and the game really only shines with four players. Most parties have more than four people.
So I went back to the drawing board. I spent hours and hours trying new ideas, testing them with friends, throwing out what didn't work and trying again. This is what I came up with: Drink Party GO. Everyone plays on their own phone, there's nothing to set up, and it works for any size party, in the same room or over a video call. Same spirit, same laughs, same ever-changing teams, now built for the whole party.
